Vox Alchimia - Land Art in Touraine

Vox Alchimia is an artistic experience offering insights into the Renaissance through the prism of alchemy.

The château-monastery of La Corroirie welcomes artists from different backgrounds and sensibilities to create a Land-Art trail punctuated byworks of art installed in the valley. This route will invite visitors to discover Nature through the eyes of artists, and to understand the art of landscape.

You’ll see how the monks of La Corroirie lived (vegetarianism, contemplation, silence, etc.) and the parallels between the history of this place and alchemy.

The artists are Rebecca Loulou (dinner performance, painter), Izia Perry (sculptor), Gaëlle Seillet (ceramic sculptor), Laurent Verrier (sculptor), TLéo (plastic sculptor), Erick Fourrier (plastic sculptor), Grôm et FanFan (sculpture in recycled metal), Segg Céramic (ceramicist) and Jeff de Mareuil (visual artist).

The rest of the tour continues in Chédigny, a ” Remarkable Gardenvillage, with a work by Rébecca Loulou, and in Montrésor, a ” Most Beautiful Villages in Francevillage , with an installation by Izia Perry. You can also see works by the artists at the RenaissanceS Beaux Lieux exhibition in Beaulieu-Lès-Loches.
